In the track Vuzu, off his new album, Moogu Village, Mlauzi raises awareness of the dangers associated with the all-teenage weekend house parties that have taken the city by storm after hundreds of youths were last year arrested by the police for attending such parties.

“The song is an awareness song. It is a confession from a teenager who no longer wants to be involved and exposed to drugs, sex, unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases from Vuzu parties,” he said.

“We are discouraging the youths from indulging in such activities and throwing away their future. The track features Terry and Pronix,” Mzoe 7 said.

The album carries five tracks with an African dance sound, Dolla bag, Celffee, Dubai, Vuzu and Another day.

The album comes at a time when the Bulawayo singer is riding high with his single, I Cry Too, which got him a Zimbabwe Music Awards nomination for best single of the year.

The musician also doubles up as a fashion designer being the founder of the #Iskipa street apparel last year.

Mzoe 7 had a good year in 2015, sharing the stage with high profile artistes like Jah Prayzah, gracing Ibumba and Intwasa Festivals and the Kalawa Home Coming party which saw African stars like Cassper Nyovest, AKA, Oskido and DJ Tira.
