The Mawayawaya hitmaker had gone underground before springing back into the limelight after featuring on Winky D’s song, Survivor, off Gafa Life album.

Resident DJs, Ally Touch and Mzoe entertained fans ahead of Shinsoman’s performance. The chanter then graced the stage at exactly 12:30am and rocked the show with his energetic performance of hit songs Mawayawaya, Ndakupenga, Makomborero and Heavy Musambo.

He also performed tracks such as Sweet Potato and Mama Divante, which he dedicated to his wife in the Valentine’s Day spirit.

“Bulawayo people are supportive. I always enjoy performing here. The crowd is always energetic and that also motivates me,” Shinsoman said.

Sibanengi Ndebele, an official at Club Forty-40, said the show was a good one and patrons should expect a lot of such shows.

“We are just getting started. Party lovers should expect fireworks this season. We are going to bring the fun at their doorsteps,” Ndebele said.
