Nkala was working with the much-decorated Umdumo Wesizwe after hanging up the microphone.

He will return to the stage on February 27, with a performance at Bulawayo Theatre.

The show, dubbed Amaphupho Amasha (New Dreams) will be preceded by promotional material, which Nkala will post online in the next coming weeks for the crowd to sample his tunes.

He said his return to the stage will now see him changing from Imbube to Afro Jazz in keeping with modern trends.

On the day of the launch, the crowd will be treated to a complete nine track album.
