The event was opened by Bulawayo-based outfit Prime Suspects and they managed to keep fans dancing at the venue until mid-night with their exuberant and electrifying performance.

The club resident DJs took turns on the decks to entertain the crowd that waited anxiously for the award winning artiste.

The Gafa, as the Kambuzuma-bred musician is affectionately-known, when he took his act to the stage the problems, indeed, disappeared from the crowd The Musarova Bigman singer managed to entertain the revellers as they temporarily forgot about “January disease” worries.

A super-charged Winky D put on a superb show which was accompanied by his chants and antics that saw him receiving cheers time and again from the crowd. He thanked the promoters for giving him a chance to come and stage an early show this year in the City of Kings.

“Bulawayo, I love you all, thanks to the promoters who gave me the chance to come and stage the show early this year in the City of Kings more are coming,” he said.

The jam-packed audience heaped praise for the multi-talented artiste for his high quality entertainment saying the track Disappear cuts above the rest.

Winky D took fans down memory lane when he played some of his early tracks such as Musarova Big Man, Paita Party and Gafa.

The catchy song Disappear caught the crowd by surprise and revellers responded in different ways while other were seen crying.
