Global airline, Emirates, has launched special fares to celebrate the arrival of a bigger plane on the Harare-Dubai route.

Emirates will be introducing the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on its Harare-Dubai route with effect from next Monday.

The airline has come up with special offers on business and economy class fares. Bookings have to be made between January 22 and February 3 for travel before June 30, 2016.

All-inclusive economy class fares from Harare to London start at $550, $695 to Dubai, $800 to Guangzhou and $1 095 to New York. Business Class fares to Mumbai start at $1 735, $2 545 to Dubai, $2 490 to London and $3 870 to New York.

“The world is a beautiful place and there is no time like now to get out there and explore it. We hope to see more people make good on their desire to travel the globe and we’ll be waiting to welcome passengers on the Zimbabwe route aboard our Emirates Boeing 777-300ER aircraft for an enhanced world class travel experience,” said Emirates country manager Paulos Legesse.

The Boeing 777-300 aircraft on the Zimbabwe route would offer an additional 97 economy class seats per flight.

The aircraft will have eight private suites in first class, 42 lie-flat seats in business class and 310 seats in economy class.

  1. when they upgraded the Harare airport why didn’t they just make to the a380 standard ? the recently upgraded vic falls airport cannot accommodate a380. why so short sighted ?

    1. There were no A380s flying when the Hre airport was last upgraded. But you are right that our 3 major airports should be upgraded to handle the A380. Most trans-continental passengers in the world now prefer to put on A380s. It’s a beautiful flying machine. It makes business sense to accommodate it here.
