Ncube said this time around they would bring South Africa’s queen of house music to serenade her fans.

Last year, Ncube had planned a potentially explosive Christmas gig, which was to feature DJ Cndo, but it did not materialise amid reports there were some logistical challenges.

“The show was not cancelled because of immigration. The artiste was cleared and we had all the papers in place. It’s only that when it started raining, we could not take the risk of travelling from Harare to Bulawayo by road as there was no flight on the day,” Ncube said.

DJ Cndo is one of the finest female South African artistes who have managed to make their names in Bulawayo and Harare with their prowess on the decks.

The award-winning artiste is known for her electrifying and captivating tunes filled with exuberance.

Born Sindisiwe Zungu in 1984, DJ Cndo developed interest in DJing while studying at Mangosuthu Technikon. She learnt how to mix at Durban’s Finest DJ Academy and soon mastered the genre and was seen playing in every gig at Mangosuthu Technikon. She developed a reputation of mixing better than most male DJs.
