THE country’s leading beverage manufacture, Delta Beverages, will tomorrow present prizes to 26 lucky radio listeners and television viewers for accurately predicting the top three songs in their correct order of the 2015 Radio Zimbabwe Coca-Cola Top 50 show held on New Year’s Eve.

The ceremony, which will be held at Mandel Training Centre, will also see dancehall chanter, Winky D, gospel musician Blessing Shumba, sungura artiste Simon Mutambi, urban groover, Trevor Dongo and South Africa-based Reverend Chivaviro receiving monetary prizes and hampers for their songs, which dominated the charts last year.
Shumba’s song, Chimwe Nechimwe, off his album NdiJesu, was voted the overall winner of the competition and he will receive $1 200 and a hamper, Mutambi’s Mukadzi Akanaka, which came second, will see the musician pocketing $800 and a hamper.
Chivaviro, whose hit Ebenezer, which was on third position, will receive $500 and a hamper.
The television video Chiramu by Winky D was voted tops will see the artiste receiving $1 200 and a hamper. ExQ will pocket $800 and receive a hamper for the video Hallelua, featuring Roki, which came second. On third position was a collaboration video by Trevor Dongo and dancehall star, Soul Jah Love titled African Girl, which will see Dongo receiving $500 and a hamper.
Shumba was voted Best Gospel singer, Mutambi was voted Best Sungura, Soul Jah Love Best Zimdancehall artiste, Nox Best Urban Groover, Clement Magwaza Best Tshibilika and Jah Prayzah was voted outstanding artiste for three of his songs and his collaboration with Nox.

Sulumani Chimbetu and Soul Jah Love’s collaboration, Nyuchi, was on fourth position, while the later’s Handichadi Nhamo claimed fifth position.
Jah Prayzah’s popular song Eriza, off the album Jerusarema, was on position six. Apart from Eriza, Chinamira and Ndoenda from the same album were voted number 18 and 30 respectively.
South Africa-based Enock “Nox” Guni’s Gumbo Mudoro, featuring Jah Prayzah, came seventh.
Other musicians who made it in the top 10 were veteran sungura artiste Nicholas Zakaria on position eight with the song Mwari Anogona, Oliver Mtukudzi’s Dzinga Hwema on ninth position, while Ziya Ndanduwe from Varumbidzi was voted number 10.
