Organisers only opened three access points which were too few for the large numbers that turned out while VIP ticket holders were made to sweat for their cash.

The ticket selling office was a distance from the VIP forcing holders to walk across the street because the short cut was barricaded by police on the section on First Avenue along Robert Mugabe and George Silundika streets.

Even after accessing the tickets, gaining entry into the venue was a nightmare for revellers owing to tight security which for most of its work delayed movement and caused inpatient fans to push and shove in the long queues that ensured along the three security checkpoints.

Some revellers complained that they were ripped off their hard earned cash owing to unrealistic beverage prices with local beers priced at $3 a pint.

Whisky in the VIP enclosure was a killer with bottles that fetched around $5 in supermarkets selling for $50, while those that sell for around $30 went for about $300 leaving merry makers with little or nothing to spend as the night was swept away in the melodies of talented DJs who however lived up to their billing.

The night was kick-started by Good Morning House artistes who were pushed off the stage after failing to impress but sanity prevailed when the award winning and multi-talented DJ Fresh took to the turntables.

After his act a local dance group Antivirus also wowed the crowd with their silky dance routines that were a marvel to watch.

Durban Nyts stole the night with their hit-track Shumaya exhibiting high energy and well-choreographed dance moves.

South African rivalry artistes Casper Nyovest, AKA and Mafikizolo did not disappoint as they managed to keep the crowd entertained with their hit songs.

The man behind the Kalawa gig Oskido this time performed early compared to the previous gigs where he was always the last one to shut down the show.
