IN response to VP gets $4m mansion: I am still reeling from shock after reading that this Vice-President Phelekezela Mphoko, after squandering taxpayers’ money for almost a whole year in the presidential suite of the Rainbow Towers Hotel, is now party to further squandering of our hard-earned taxes in order to satisfy the aspirations of an extravagant, egotistical wife with an over-inflated idea of her husband’s importance, by moving into a $4 million mansion.

Until he was appointed to the position, nobody had even heard of this Mphoko and certainly his wife was also a nonentity.
What has either of them done for this country’s betterment? Has this couple no shame?
Is there to be no end to this government’s profligacy at a time when our people are already starving, with some lucky ones existing on “gifts” of stolen food and more of them likely to be in this state as the predicted drought continues?
