“As a musician I seek to teach people through music and this album is a reflection of my deep understanding of people around me and issues that affect them in their day-to-day lives,” he said.

“I believe the album will do well on the market, as I have given it my best shot considering the time we spent fine-tuning it.”

The musician said they will be staging shows across the country as a way of marketing the album and taking their previous projects to the fans.

Sodza became a darling for many in 2013 when he released his debut album Kuumba Magariro, which carried hit songs such as Ndakazvibikira Mbodza, which dominated the airwaves, receiving fair airplay on local radio stations.

The musician claims to be a versatile singer, who can compose sungura, jazz and reggae songs hence the name Sodza music.

Albums under Sodza’s sleeve are his debut Kuumba Magariro and Nzira Yakanaka, a 2014 production, which carries songs such as Amaiguru, Thandie, Mukadzi Akanaka, Ndakazvibikira Mbodza and Masugar Daddy.

Sungura musicians Romeo Gasa and Andy Muridzo are among the guest artistes, expected to grace the launch that will also be broadcast live on a local radio station.
