Thousands of fans, who packed the venue, described the show as one of Majalisa’s best acts in recent years in the city.

Mpendulo and Silindile got the show to an exciting start, before making way for Majalisa around 1am.

The Akulalwa Ziyawa hit-maker thanked the promoters for giving her an opportunity to perform in the city.

“I would like to thank promoters for inviting me to come and perform here. We are looking forward to returning soon. I am happy to be in Bulawayo everyone knows that when I am here I rock and I don’t disappoint my fans,” she said.

Mthulisi Ncube, one of the fans, hailed Majalisa, saying she had not lost the midas touch that made her a household name on the continent.

“Majalisa and her stable are just powerful, they need to come to the country at least three times a year because we are missing out,” he said.

Majalisa started her tour in the country on Friday night with performance at Collen Bawn.
