The forthcoming album has 13 songs, five of which are bonus tracks from her last album. Mare’s music is a fine blend of different genres inclined to traditional African sound, which she classifies as world music.

“This is her third studio album. Beyond all that we are launching the brand, Cynthia Mare, to the whole country,” Nkomo said. Mare’s last album was released in December 2013.

Mare is a seasoned musician who has been in the industry for the last 10 years. Initially based in the United Kingdom, the songstress has been in Zimbabwe for the last three years.
