Kansiime speaks on Zim concert

UGANDAN queen of comedy, Anne Kansiime, has promised a night of rib-cracking laughter ahead of her performance at 7 Arts Theatre in Avondale, Harare on November 14.

Speaking through her manager, Johnson Mujungu, Kansiime urged fans to come in their numbers.

“I don’t have much to say. All I can say is that the Ninja gal is ready to thrill her ninjas at the concert,” Mujungu said.

The award-winning entertainer, who doubles as an actor, is expected in the country on November 12 aboard Kenyan Airways.

Organisers of the show, Xtra Time Entertainment spokesperson Tonderai Mwaita said fans should purchase their tickets in time as they have limited seats.

“Tickets of the Anne Kansiime Show are selling fast and I can confirm that we have sold about three quarters. Fans can buy their tickets at Tech Tools [next to Café Nush], Vera Mall at Avondale shopping centre in Harare,” he said.

“Fans should purchase their tickets in advance to avoid being turned away considering that our venue has limited seats.”

Mwaita said there will be surprise acts at the show, but he emphasised that a reputable local music outfit will also be part of the line-up of performers on the night.

“We have lots of surprises for the fans at the show with amazing prizes to be won by lucky fans, courtesy of our partners Astro Mobile, Black Opal, Brands Africa and Racey Mason,” he said.

At the show, Kansiime will share the stage with Zimbabwe’s finest comedians, Carl Joshua Ncube and Doc Vikela.
