Buffaloes face Dynamos while Tsholotsho host Harare City as the league season comes to an end. Three of this season’s newcomers Dongo Sawmills, WhaWha and Flame Lily have dropped back to Division One.

Buffaloes are lying on the 13th position with 29 points while Tsholotsho are one place above the army side with 30 points.

Buffaloes take on Dynamos at Sakubva Stadium in a must-win encounter tomorrow where a draw will not be enough to save them, while even with a win their survival depends on the Tsholotsho-Harare City result.

TSHOLOTSHO-FC

Tsholotsho shocked Harare City 1-0 in the season opener and they will be hoping to brew another shocker as they aim to stay afloat.

Buffaloes have the experience of surviving under such circumstances, having escaped the chop on the last day of the campaign in the last two seasons.

Buffaloes head coach Saul Chaminuka told NewsDay Sport that they are used to such pressures. “We have been here before, we are used to it and we are hoping that just like the other years we are going to prevail,’’ he said.

Buffaloes’ spokesperson Gladman Chimonyo has urged football fans in Mutare to come in their numbers as they take on the Glamour Boys, who are also aiming for a strong finish to the season.

“We are expecting fireworks in this match, this is a match we need to win at all costs, we are raring to go. I am hoping we are going to see a full house, our fans should come in their numbers to support us because we want to continue playing in the top-flight league,’’ he said.

Chaminuka will be praying that his old-time friend Taurai Mangwiro, who is Harare City head coach, will do him a favour by beating Tsholotsho.

The coaches worked together at Caps United where Chaminuka was assistant to Mangwiro. Buffaloes will be hoping that Prosper Matizanadzo and veteran striker Jacob Muzokomba will carry the day for them.
