The Zanu PF MP’s Range Rover will be auctioned at the Revelations Auctioneers workshop in the capital. According to a public notice, the Range Rover will be sold at the instigation of Windmill (Pvt) Ltd, which is seeking to recover a debt of over $103 000 for inputs supplied to Kereke’s Pamene Farm in Mashonaland West.

“Duly instructed by the sheriff of the High Court of Zimbabwe, the following movable property will be sold by public auction on November 27 at 10am,” the notice read in part.

Those interested are expected to part with a refundable fee of $1 000.

KEREKE

Windmill is into the farming business including manufacturing and selling of agricultural chemicals, fertilisers and agricultural equipment, among other inputs.

Kereke, a former adviser to former Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe governor Gideon Gono, however, is not the only Zanu PF official whose property would go under the hammer for failure to pay up debts.

Only last week, Environment, Water and Climate minister Oppah Muchinguri lost her 4 034 square metres property in Glen Lorne to CBZ Bank, while Agriculture deputy minister (livestock) Paddy Zhanda lost his property built on 4 503 square metres after failing to settle a debt with African Banking Corporation.
