But what will be of major concern to the quartet is not the opponents they would face, but rather the venues of the match.

Dynamos overcame How Mine 1-0 to qualify for the semi-finals with Ocean Mushure converting from the penalty spot. Chicken Inn beat ZPC Kariba on penalties after the match had ended 0-0 in regulation time, while Highlanders edged FC Platinum 1-0 courtesy of a strike by Knox Mutizwa.

Caps United booked their place with a 3-1 win over Hwange at the National Sports Stadium via goals by Moses Muchenje (penalty), Joel Ngodzo and Hardlife Zvirekwi, with Hwange getting themselves a consolation through Aleck Marime.

Should Chicken Inn win the Easy Call Cup, it will cap a fine season for the Game Cocks as they would have, completed a league and cup double.

On the other hand, DeMbare, Bosso and the Green Machine, who have failed to pick up any silverware so far this term, will be out to please their fans in this competition.

They will all be targeting progression to the final, but the draw itself will be intriguing as two of the three will face each other.

Caps United would be happy to avoid Dynamos having dominated both Chicken Inn and Highlanders in the league this term.

Dynamos were hammered 3-1 by Chicken Inn at Rufaro in a league encounter and they might be wary of drawing Joey Antipas’ side.

However it pans out, it will be a tough semi-final for any of the teams.
