Build Zimbabwe Scheme is a new housing project set to benefit millions of home seekers.

The event will be free of charge under the theme, ZimAsset, Yes I Will Do My Part.

The event will also feature gospel musicians Kudzai Nyakudya, Vabati VaJehova, Flame B, Sebastian Magacha and dancehall musician Killer T.

Zaha director-general Killer Zivhu told a Press conference in Harare yesterday that they are committed to providing stable accommodation for every Zimbabwean.

“Our musicians among other celebrities have left many astonished after their deaths as few of them owned houses. As Zaha we’re saying this must come to an end as this Build Zimbabwe initiative is a platform for them and the majority of Zimbabweans to own a property,” Zivhu said.

Zivhu said the scheme would change the lives of millions of Zimbabweans who had lost faith in some bogus housing schemes whose houses have been demolished, with people losing millions of dollars in the process.

“As part of this scheme, Zaha will be working with a local bank and an international bank that operates here where interested members are to open a savings account and can only make payment to Zaha upon the unveiling of the stands unlike the case with some associations who make members pay for non-existent stands,” he said.
