He has taken the message about the dangers of prostitution and lack of moral values in Beitbridge right to the doorsteps of residents of the border town.
Mhangara, who has one album Mukana Nenguva (2013), has been encouraging youths to use opportunities that come their way.
“My aim is to educate the youths not to indulge in prostitution which is rampant in this city,” he said. “My songs teach about the goodness of God and I have seen it unique in moving around preaching and selling the music myself in complementing my message to the people.”
His band is made up of three female backing vocalists.
Mhangara is set to release his second album, Pane Wandidana, next month.
Some of the songs on the forthcoming album include Mukuru Baba, Ichaguma, Shungu, Ndatenda and Ndakarwadziwa.
