MARONDERA show goers were taken down memory lane when rasta-kwasa musician Dino Mudondo put up a pulsating performance at The Legends Sports Diner at the weekend.

The pint-sized musician, who has been off the radar over the past few years, due to personal problems, mesmerised fans with old hits from his previous albums.
Hit songs Makhoikhoi, Chirangano and Jatropha wowed fans.
Dino’s performance came after another show at Pamuzinda recently, where he put up a sterling performance, as he shared the stage with Jah Prayzah.
Dino took to the stage at 10pm and played until 1am before making way for resident wheel spinner, DJ Ninja.
He told NewsDay after the show that he was still in the game, dismissing rumours that he was now a spent force.
“You can’t write off Dino too quickly. I had gone quiet, yes, but I’m back with force,” he said, adding that he would embark on a nationwide tour soon.

“The reason I went quiet is that I lost my father and he left a farm, so I was putting things in place and this consumed most of my time.”
He said since his return to the limelight, he was overwhelmed by the response from rasta-kwasa fans that still had faith in him.
He said to seal his return he was currently working on a new album at Jah Prayzah’s studio.
Dino, who boasts of more than 15 albums in his music career, is renewing his romance with his legions of fans across the country.
He teamed up with veteran producer Delani Makhalima in 2000 and formed an outfit called Second Nature, performing at beauty pageants and fashion shows.
In 2002, Dino released Makorokoto and he later teamed up with Willom Tight and the two formed a formidable force, which however, ended abruptly before going solo.
