10:43:ZIA CEO Mubaiwa says,”It is ideal to invest in Zim because we are a regional gateway,centrally located in SADC.
Our economy is diversified including mining, tourism ,well endowed with natural resources”
“Opportunity areas available for investment include mining,tourism industry etc”.

2.Base metals which include iron ore with Zimbabwe having 30-40 billion tonnes of iron ore reserves,30 known nickel deposits,approximately 10 billion tonnes of chromite,70 copper deposits in the Great Dyke.Gemstones 150 kimberlites across the country.
3.Energy minerals,coal 30 billion tonnes,gas with 9% methane content CBM resources 20 trillion cubic feet .Uranium 500 000 tonnes of ore.
10:16:Minister Moyo states that the mineral portfolio is critical to human development.”Minerals are critical to human social development ,including gold, manganese,iron,chromite,diamonds,coal,”he says.
The Deputy Minster of Mines laments the fact that the minerals are locked up because of “lack of infrastructure”
10:12Deputy Minister of Mines and Mining Development Fred Moyo takes to the podium.
10:00:Minister Bimha says “The government has approved the establishment of a national competitiveness commision to improve the ease of doing business putting in place legal structures for joint ventures.” He further states that the government is open to criticism and new ideas.
09:58: Bimha talks of the show of confidence in Zim by PPC as shown by the soil turning ceremony held at the plant in Msasa yesterday.
