Spanish sportswear manufacturers Joma are the new technical partners of Zifa and will dress all national teams.

Joma yesterday unveiled the new kits with an announcement that the deal with Zifa will last the next two years.
Joma takes over from British partners Umbro, whose arrangement with the association expired last year.
The kit will be used for the first time by the Warriors when they host Guinea next weekend in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Replica jerseys will start selling today for $25 each at selected outlets.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony in the capital yesterday, Zifa president Cuthbert Dube said they settled on Joma after over other companies that had proposed to dress the Warriors.

“A number of companies were keen to partner our association, but after a lot of consideration, we noted that the Spanish giants Joma presented an attractive offer,” said Dube.
“This partnership deal is of paramount importance, bearing in mind that our national teams should have a uniform identity.
“The arrival of a technical partner on board will eliminate issues of running around at the eleventh hour to source playing kits in an environment where financial resources are scarce,” he added.
Joma also clothe local football club Caps United and also personally supply sports equipment to Warriors forward Quincy Antipas. Its Antipas’ company Patriarch Princets who brokered the deal.
A Joma official Karim Sali from Spain was at the function.
Zimbabwe becomes the second African national team to be sponsored by Joma after Kenya.
