The album Bhora Mberi has seven tracks of afro-jazz blended with distinct mbira sound and sungura beats.

The album carries songs like Bhora Mberi, Baba Munenge Rombe and Ndotsvaga Wangu, which delves into socio–cultural dilemmas face by people.

In the song Baba Munenge Rombe, which features Sulumani Chimbetu, Hondoyedzomba laments the dilemma faced by musicians who go home empty-handed despite investing a lot of effort in their work.

The song Huchi urges people not to lose focus in life since fun in the world will never come to an end.

HD made headlines in the late 90s to around mid-2000 when he won the Mashonaland Central provincial best band prize in the Chibuku Road to Fame shows.

He also scooped more than three awards between 2000 and 2007 in the Music Crossroads of Southern Africa which were sponsored by Swedish International Development Agency and the National Arts Council.

Using funds scooped from these awards HD recorded his first album in 2007 titled Uncle Sam.

“The journey to success in the entertainment industry has been long,” said Hondoyedzomba, who thanked fellow musicians like Sulumani Chimbetu, Willis Watafi, Kireni Zulu and Victor Kunonga for throwing their weight behind him at his recent album launch.
