OPPOSITION MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai has called on party members to inculcate a spirit of political activism in their teenage children to ensure they are geared for the 2018 do-or-die elections.

Addressing over 1 000 MDC-T supporters at Hauna business centre in Mutasa North constituency on Saturday.
Tsvangirai warned that his party would be finished if it failed to win the 2018 elections.
“This time if we fail to win we are doomed. Here in the rural areas, you need to find your own means to survive because even the government itself has no response to poverty levels in the country,” he said.
“As we go towards that very critical date, we should all go and register to vote. Let’s all go and register, ensuring that no one is left out. Every child that has reached 15 years should go and register.
“Apostolic churches start teaching their children when they are still young, taking them to religious conventions to learn. You should be like them. Those who have children should take their children to rallies because we are fighting for their future,’’ he added.
Tsvangirai said the MDC-T had adopted a new aggressive campaign strategy which would see them win the elections, but refused to disclose finer details.
