In summons filed on July 16 at the Bulawayo High Court, Bosal Afrika (Pty) Ltd said WMMI had failed to pay for exhaust pipe materials delivered to its headquarters in Southerton, Harare.

Through its lawyers, Webb and Barry, the South African firm said: “Bosal Afrika claims against defendant in accordance with particulars endorsed payment of R234 824,80 being the amount due and owing in respect of work and labour done, materials supplied and goods sold and delivered.

“Despite the demand, defendant fails to pay. Interest on the aforesaid sum is at the prescribed rate from July 2 2015 being the date of demand to date of payment in full cost of suit.”

The firm gave WMMI up to 13 days to enter appearance to defend the suit.
