The provincial finals are set for August 18 with national finals slated for August 25 in the capital at a venue yet to be decided. Mushandike High School will be the place to be in Masvingo district where nine schools will clash in the tournament.

Schools that have qualified from different zones include Mutendi High, Bere, Masvingo Christian, Mapanzure, Victoria High, Daitai, Nyabata, Mazambara and Chirichoga.

Only the winner will advance to the provincial finals to be held in Gutu.

“These teams will play on July 31 to get the winner, a team that will represent the district at the provincials to be held in Gutu. “Provincial winners will represent the province at the national finals to be held in Harare on August 25,” Munyaradzi Muzenda, Nash district organiser, said.

The Ngena/Pinda Musmart tournament seeks to conscientise youths on the benefits of circumcision.
