Mutambu was attacked together with her sister Anesu at their Waterfalls home in the capital just a few hours after the crowning and the robbery was reported to Braeside Police Station under case number RRB2435003.

Mutambu replaced Emily Kachote who was dethroned on allegations of a nude pictures scandal.

The two girls were attacked while walking home from a cousin’s house. Mutambu sustained minor injuries. She lost her laptop and mobile phone in the robbery.
