In their last encounter the two teams played a 1-1 draw.

In the last five encounters, Buffaloes have managed seven points out of a possible 15 while How Mine have not lost in their last five matches winning three and drawing two.

How Mine are fourth on the standings with 26 points which is three shy of log leaders Chicken Inn while Buffaloes are 10th with 16 points.

Since taking over at Buffaloes, Saul Chaminuka has managed just a point from two matches having lost 4-1 against FC Platinum last month.

Chaminuka, who was successful last season with ZPC Kariba, will hope to repeat the same feat with Buffaloes in the second half of the season.

Chaminuka has so far lost once against How Mine and that was last season at Luveve Stadium where he fell 3-2 when he was still with ZPC.

His aim will probably be to collect points for Buffaloes who are not too far off from the relegation zone as only six points separate them from the team at the bottom of the log.

How Mine on the other hand started off badly in the first half of the season but have managed to pick themselves up and collect enough points to put them in the top four.

At Mandava Stadium, FC Platinum welcome Chapungu in another match this afternoon. The last match between the two ended in a 0-0 draw at Ascot last Saturday, but this time Platinum will be hoping to turn home advantage into goals.
