Rumour has been doing rounds for the past days that the speedy striker had completed a move to the East African giants but his club has allayed fears of the forward leaving the club.

Ngoma underwent his medical examination with the prospective employers where he is said to have passed, but is yet to pen a contract.

The forceful forward is said to have agreed personal terms with Yanga as Young Africans are affectionately known but the two clubs are yet to agree a fee.

However, Mawere told this publication that the Zvishavane-based side is yet to sanction his move and that the two clubs are yet to reach an agreement.

“As far as I am concerned Donald is still our player and nothing has changed,” Mawere said.

“We have not yet agreed on his transfer fees or anything regarding his transfer. They (Young Africans) requested to have his medical examinations before they open negotiations.

“Now that he has been medically examined by their medical team we are waiting to hear from them.”

Pure Platinum Play, expect a big catch from Ngoma’s sale and they hope to sanction the sale without thinking twice.

Even after the departure of Ngoma, the platinum miners are expected to move forward well as they have many attacking options in their dressing room that include Brian Muzondiwa, Emmanuel Mandiranga, Obrey Chirwa and Marshall Mudehwe.

The platinum miners who were the country’s sole representative in the African Safari were eliminated from this year’s competition by the Tanzanians with a 5-2 aggregate defeat, but the exploits of Ngoma caught the eye of Yanga coaching staff.
