The Warriors drew 0-0 and progressed to an October double date with Lesotho on a 2-0 aggregate win in the 2016 African Nations Championships (Chan) qualifiers.

Pasuwa quit the Warriors on Thursday night after the second training session before being persuaded to return after talks between his manager Gibson Mahachi and the SRC.

“At least we are now talking. You can’t continue to be working for nothing. I have a family to look after and at the end of the day I have to put food on the table,” Pasuwa said.

“I left that matter into the hands of my handler who met SRC. The reason why I am here is because the two reached common ground. Mahachi was set to collect $1000 from SRC which he was going to deliver to my house. That arrangement is the one which then made me change my mind.”

Pasuwa said a payment plan has been agreed between Mahachi and the SRC on how they will pay his 10 months’ salary including allowances and winning bonuses.

Pasuwa was not alone in the celebrations as the players were also given their allowances after the finale whistle at Stade de Moroni on Saturday.

The players were all smiles after getting their allowances from team manager Shariff Mussa who however could not reveal how much each player got.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, one player encouraged Zifa and SRC to continue their new found partnership.

“At least one can tell that I am coming from an international assignment. At times you need to be rewarded for the good job. All the players are in a good mood,” the player said.
