Spiwe Musukwa was on Wednesday granted a peace order against Georgina Nyamupepemha, whom she accused of harassing her over her former lover’s belongings.

Musukwa told the court that Nyamupepemha often came to her house accusing her of being in love with her husband she used to date two years ago.

“When she comes to my place she claims she will be looking for their clothes, meaning her clothes and her husband’s, as well as other belongings such as her jailed husband’s bank card,” she said.

Musukwa further said she did not have any of his belongings and was now happily married to another man.

In her response, Nyamupepemha said she only visited Musukwa’s house after her husband had stopped coming home. She further said at one point when she called her husband, he advised her he was at Musukwa’s house which was why she decided to visit together with their two children.

“When my husband was arrested for rape, he asked me to collect his belongings from her, which included a bank card,” Nyamupepemha said.

Nyamupepemha said when she went to Musukwa’s house, it was after the police had inquired of her husband’s particulars. She stated that she only needed her husband’s documents from Musukwa, who she claimed was still seeing her husband.

Harare magistrate Trevor Nyatsanza granted Musukwa a peace order barring Nyamupepemha from visiting her house or harassing her over her husband’s issues.
