Police yesterday said they were appealing to victims of sexual assault whose video clip has gone viral on social media platforms to report the matter to help in the identification of the perpetrators.

In the video clip, currently circulating on WhatsApp, the unidentified and naked couple is assaulted and forced by five men to engage in sexual activity at a bushy site.
“The two victims in this horrendous video are urged to come forward and report. Police will ensure that that the law takes its course on these unruly elements in society,” national police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba said.
Meanwhile, Charamba also appealed for information leading to the arrest of two suspects who allegedly sexually molested some minor children in Bulawayo recently.
