Hundreds of people attended the Veterinarians for Animal Welfare Zimbabwe Scruffs Dog Show at Hellenic Senior School on Sunday.
The show was held in order to raise money for sterilisation and rabies campaign and also the spraying of dog to stop them from loitering.
The organisation depends on members of the public for it to function fully.
Some of its functions are to enforce the Cruelty Against Animals Act, looking at the welfare all animals be they domestic farm and wild animals, deal with cases of dog bites, where they educate people to have their dogs vaccinated against rabies.
The campaign is held throughout the country.
