Beatrice Sibanda entered into the blankets with the juvenile aged two years and six months and placed him on top of her before being intimate with him. The matter came to light after the complainant’ s younger brother told his mother of what Sibanda had done whilst she was away.

Sibanda pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated indecent assault when she appeared before regional magistrate, Morgan Nemadire and was remanded in custody to June 22 for judgment.

Prosecutors said on June 2 at around 12 noon in Mkoba 15, the accused was playing with the complainant, his younger brother and niece sitting on the bed.

Sibanda took the boy and undressed him before she went into the blankets with him. She allegedly placed complainant on top of her before inserting his manhood into her private parts and engaged in sexual intercourse with him.

When the complainant’s mother returned, his younger brother told her what Sibanda had done to the child. The complainant’s mother reported the matter to the police leading to the arrest of the accused person. The complainant was medically examined and it was confirmed that he was sexually abused.
