The production, which was done locally, was currently rated as the best video by the participating audience.

The disc jockey-cum-live-stage performer took his audience by surprise when he performed the title track of the video live on stage. Soon after the launch, the former radio personality said he was happy that people in Bulawayo had supported him and he would continue working hard to produce videos of high quality.

“It’s my first video. I am happy that those who assisted me in coming up with this theatrical production were committed in making sure that the video is of high quality. The audience supported me and they told me that I should continue working hard to produce more videos,” he said.

DJ Mphoe said it was an eye opener that people wanted home-grown videos showing places they appreciate and know, compared to videos from foreign artistes. He noted that resources permitting, he would look for other budding artistes in the city so they could come together and produce more videos like what their counterparts are doing in other cities in the country.

Over the past months he has shared the stage with Sandra Ndebele. Both are known for energetic dances on stage.

DJ Mphoe is a member of the Teddy Bears group that performs across the city at various private and corporate functions.
