Pazimuti returns bigger and better

In an interview with Standard Style, Musadza said Pazimuti Season 2 is going to be one of the best series.

BY KUDZAI CHITSATSO AWARD-winning series Pazimuti Season 2 premieres at the end of this month, according to the writer and the director Takudzwa Musadza.

In an interview with Standard Style, Musadza said Pazimuti Season 2 is going to be one of the best series.

“I would like to label Pazimuti Season 2 as a drama, but l would rather call it a series and it’s going to be one of the best stories to emerge from our film industry just watch out for the best,” he said.

Musadza said the drama series portrays true love and challenges that youths face in their day-to-day lives.

“Pazimuti is an award winning series that was shot in Gweru and I wrote and directed it,”  he said.

The director said Pazimuti Season 2 would be lit as it features interesting characters including Takunda Nyakauri, popularly known as Notorious “Jedza”.

“Other people featured in the drama include Simbarashe Gwawawa, Diana Mwanangombe, Monalisa Chikudo and many others,” Musadza said.

He said season 2 was supposed to have been released last year, but was deferred due to financial challenges.

Musadza said he was funding the project from his pocket.
