Last month, Champions won the best enterprise award while the organisation’s managing director Nathan Chikono scooped the best manager’s award. The award earned Champions a certificate of incorporation into the EBA.
Champions marketing executive Tapiwa Kahiya told NewsDay that registering under the EBA enterprise was a crucial endorsement that Champions Insurance was a reliable business partner for global organisations and individuals wishing to do business in Zimbabwe.
“The inclusion is typical testimony that Champions Insurance competes at a global scale and our standards continue to improve in line with the best standards,”he said
EBA recognised Champions Insurance as a short-term insurance provider offering a wide range of innovative short-term products, both for the individual and corporate clients. It has been providing rock-solid, renowned and innovative risk financing solutions to the nation.
“We are the only insurance company that provides inbound travel insurance cover designed for incoming visitors to Zimbabwe which complements the government efforts to promote Zimbabwe as a safe tourist destination,” Kahiya said.
“We provide one of the best international travel cover in the whole world which is backed by MAPFRE Assistencia of Spain, one of the leading global insurers in the world.”
