During the early minutes of the Dynamos v Harare City match on Saturday, April 25 a police officer chased an alleged cellphone thief at Rufaro Stadium. The man is alleged to have stolen a cell phone during the commotion that broke out minutes before the game started as football fans tried to gain entry into the stadium.

  6. am quite disturbed by people encouraging the clobbering of the poor alleged thief. no one has a right to beat anyone. its an offence. that police officer has an obligation to protect the alleged cell phone snatcher and that ‘van damme’ must be arrested for assault. only the courts can met out justice. STOP VIOLENCE ask xenophobia attack victims and they will tell you how painful it is. STOP VIOLENCE! DONT ENCOURAGE VIOLENCE! DONT ENCOURAGE POLICE BRUTALITY!!!
