The track was is off Goodchild’s upcoming album due for release in August.

It is about a girl who is two-timing her man. The man asks her to make up her mind; mentioning that he is committed to her, but can never cope with her going back and forth between him and another man.

“Myself, Ex-Q, Roki, Cindy and a few other artistes have been trying to break into the African market. One day Ex-Q and I went into the studio and sat down with the producer, to create that sound,” Goodchild said.

He said he had come up with the chorus as well as creating melodies for the track while Ex-Q complemented his effort, creating an exciting collaboration.

The Iwe Fadzai hit-maker said it was a good thing working with Ex-Q who is his close friend, “like a real brother”.

“I was happy doing such collaboration with Ex-Q because he is very creative, hardworking and passionate about his music. The words I have used to describe him can be used to describe me,” Goodchild said.

He added that because they shared common interests, it enabled them to work smoothly together and it was something he was willing to do over and over again as the experience was always great, not to mention going on to work on the video as well.

Goodchild said they had worked together on other projects before working on the song Big Spender which was produced by Russell “Russo” Chiradza in 2013. Last year they worked on an Urban Legends song titled Good Love, which was an all-star track featuring Ex-Q, Trevor Dongo, Nesto, Stunner, Shinso and Goodchild. It received fair airplay on local radio stations.

However, the latest Goodchild and Ex-Q collaboration is now playing on local radio and they are yet to submit the video to television stations.

“I just finished my brand new single You and I, which will be part of my forthcoming album and we are already planning for the video shoot. This song is what Zimbabwe has been waiting for and I know after listening to it anyone will agree with me,” said Goodchild.

Concerning working with Goodchild in the collaboration, Ex-Q said he was indeed a cool person who was very easy to work with.

“Goodchild is creative and together we share the same vision concerning our musical careers besides just being friends as well as working with the same producers,” said Ex-Q.
