Produced by Yagi Dojo and co-written by Roki, Havarare celebrates the most driven citizens of Zimbabwe’s capital city and those outside who wish to fulfil their dreams in it.
The track is a celebration of those that spend time in their respective occupations not just making ends meet, but succeeding despite the economic challenges being faced in Zimbabwe.
“The single’s lyrics also have a humorous take at how classism is the latest social trend, especially when it comes to marriage,” said her manager, Tsungi Zvobo.
Havarare comes as an uplifting new jam with an Afro-pop feel to it; the song has a new and unique sound that is still distinctively Zimbabwean. Zvobo said besides being a brand new sound with a totally different feel altogether, Havarare is a showcase of Ammara’s innate ability to fuse sounds and in this case Afro-pop, RnB, sungura and Shangani guitars which have met in such a profound way.
“We are excited that Havarare has so far already been well received by many audiences through local radio stations and the fans can expect Ammara’s electric performance interpretation of this single,” she said.
Havarare has so far been released on local and international radio stations since yesterday and a great following is expected from various listeners as well as her faithful fans, the Ammartians that are in all corners of the world and have supported her career since the beginning.
