The Gospel of Jesus Christ is meant to lift you from unbearable life situations and circumstances. It transforms you from a defeated life to a victorious and prosperous life.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is meant to lift you from unbearable life situations and circumstances. It transforms you from a defeated life to a victorious and prosperous life.

The Gospel equips you for success on earth, giving you purpose to live and preparing you for heaven by grace.

The duty of the preacher and teacher is to show you the picture of what you should be and where you should be. At the point you accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour, you receive salvation and go through the process of deliverance till the return of Christ.

While you await your desired breakthrough, you are in between the real you and desired you.

Progress in life is many times hindered because the process to the desired destination is not fully addressed.

It is informative to know the destination, but more beneficial to know where you are departing from. The real you has to be taken care of so that you graduate into the desired you. You are right to confess and declare that you are a millionaire or billionaire, but it is useful to realise that you earn $3 000 per year.

I don’t want to intimidate you or belittle your faith, but this information will help you embark on programmes that will take you to your desired dream.

Many times we brag about what we want to become and fail to be humble to address our current mediocre circumstances.

As a Christian, you live your life by faith propelled by what you have prayed for and trusted God for. To lead a successful life, you have to balance your future and your now.

I am not against you claiming such Scriptures as 2 Corinthians 5:7, which reads: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” I know you are driven by Romans 4:17 which reads in part: “And calleth those things which be not as though they were.”

The promises of God will take you to where they promise, but before the manifestation of the promises, you have to deal with your current situation.

William Shakespeare makes this profound statement in Hamlet: “This above all — to thine own self be true. And it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.”

I know you have a great destiny, but don’t fly if you are still a worm, wait till you are a butterfly. Until you realise that you have to be true to yourself and do whatever is necessary to get you to the destination, you will remain grounded, heading nowhere.

Putting on a nice outfit or suit is not enough. You need to take your résumé to prospective employers.

Before you are the millionaire you aspire to be, you have to spend like an unemployed person.

I know you want to psyche yourself up, but you cannot afford that lifestyle yet. Let me address those that are saying pastor you are killing our faith. Maybe you are barren and have already bought clothes for your children. You have done right by that step of faith, continue to pray and seek deliverance where necessary. What you don’t have to do is to fake pregnancy. If you don’t own a house and have processed housing plans for upmarket house; you are in order, now work for it.

Being true to yourself will help you fight the battles of your life and become what God has ordained for you. While your mind should comprehend what you want to be, you should be careful not to fool yourself and fail to walk the journey. You have lived for too long in fantasy. Daydreaming should come to an end so that you enjoy the promises of God. Move out of reverie and let your faith bear fruit.

I don’t want to stifle you if you have travelled far in meditation towards your goal. Henry David Thoreau gives an option. He says: “Do not worry if you have built your castles in the air. They are where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.”

Stop the pretence.

I believe in miracles, but I also believe in divine laws such as sowing and reaping. Put flesh to your dream and prophecy and work towards the realisation of your destiny?

Roll up your sleeves, pull up your socks and work to put substance to your hope.

I know that as a receptionist or marketer or whatever profession you are, duty calls that you have to put a very successful face.

When you get to your secluded place, remove the mask. Realise who you are and who you are not and be true to yourself and work in order to be who you aspire to be.

You are going somewhere.
