The company’s innovation has seen the fledgling business player continuing to make inroads into various sectors of the economy thanks to its wide array of quality and market tested products.

“Kusi Chemicals is a subsidiary of the Kusi Group, which incorporates Kusi wholesale, Kusi hardware and Kusi mining. “Our product range and services are quite in sync with the covid-19 situation which has made us one of the key players in combating this disease. From hand sanitisers, deep cleaning chemicals and other related disinfection chemicals and services, Kusi Chemicals has become the flagship service provider and supplier.”

The company specialises in various products namely hard surface cleaner, scouring powder, fabric softener, regular bleach, thick bleach, toilet cleaner, household sanitizer, all purpose cleaner, pine gel, floor polish, tile cleaner, floor glaze, hair shampoo, foam bath, washing powder, detergent paste, channel blocks, de greaser as well as car wash and drain cleaner.

The 100% Zimbabwean owned company which was founded in 2017 has continued to contribute towards a healthy nation and Mugwaga said beyond their leading role in fighting Covid-19, they have always believed in a clean and fresh environment for all.

“Beyond the work we are doing in combating covid-19 through our products and services, we believe a clean and fresh environment is a must hence we have been specialising in the business of manufacturing cleaning detergents for both domestic and industrial purposes,” Mugwagwa said.

Our vision is to reliably surpass expectations of our customers and clients through provision of eco-friendly products and offering quality cleaning solutions to people in Zimbabwe, the Southern African region and beyond.”

Thanks to innovation and continued research on growing the entity, Kusi Chemicals has opened branches in Harare, Gweru, Bulawayo and Chinhoyi since inception in 2017. The company has also acquired industrial land where a state of the art manufacturing facility will be constructed within the next five years.

“We have registered marked growth in our operations and we are happy to have opened 4 branches in Harare, Gweru, Bulawayo and Mutare thanks to our quest to satisfy the market,” Mugwagwa said.

“In 2019, Kusi Chemicals also diversified into cleaning, fumigation and landscaping services from domestic to commercial level and the success has been resounding. We have also received various accolades in recognition of our work and we are grateful for the strides.”
