Chesney Williams graduated from Chisipite Senior School, Harare Zimbabwe in 2012.
She is currently studying at Spero Villioti Elite Design Academy at Hyde Park Shopping centre in Johannesburg.
Having always been passionate about fashion as it, “allowed me to channel my creativity and express the person I am.”
Williams relished being given the chance to work with Gugulethu Banda and make her a dress for the Miss South Africa (Miss SA) competition.
Banda wore the dress made by Williams on Sunday recently on MNet during the Miss SA competition.

Banda did not make it to the top five however, as showcased in the Miss SA competition Williams is a capable designer and has already made her mark in the African fashion world.
Eager to put into practice what she has learned in the Miss SA competition, she hopes to create a successful collection for her end of year fashion show.
Williams is finishing her studies at the end of this year and is looking forward to becoming more involved in the fashion industry.
“Designing and making garments that make people feel beautiful and confident is the reason I love what I do and what drew me into this industry,” she said.
