Autoworks played host to Mutukudzi as part of their celebrations for clinching the dealership deal with Zimbabwe premier vehicles dealer

Tuku took his fans down memory lane with one of his first songs early in his career, Nyangwe ukakwira mbombera.

He kept fans on their feet as he dominated the stage works with energy and passionate lyrics in songs like Pata Pata.

Autoworks owner Oswald Mashonganyika said the Tuku show was just an icing on the cake to celebrate a milestone in the automotive industry in the province.

“People had to travel to Harare every time they wanted to buy a Mercedecs Benz, Jeep or any of the product lines exclusively offered by Zimoco. It’s the same with repairs, but now our workshop will serve that purpose and this called for celebrations,” said Mashonganyika.

Kwekwe Mayor Matenda Madzoke, who also witnessed the launch of the partnership, welcomed Zimoco’s move to have confidence in a Kwekwe company.

“After all these years we finally get Zimoco here and this does not only improve our status as a city but creates employment and revenue for the local authority. Bringing Tuku a music legend to celebrate this legendary milestone is only befitting,” he said.
