YOUNG Warriors coach Kalisto Pasuwa has been forced to make changes to the squad that will face Cameroon in the first round, first leg of the All-Africa Games qualifiers in Harare on March 21 after foreign-based clubs refused to release players arguing that the match falls outside the Fifa calendar.

Kuda Mahachi, who plays for Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa, Netherlands-based Marvellous Nakamba and England-based Macauley Bonne will not be part of the squad to face Cameroon after their respective clubs refused to release them.

How Mine pair of goalkeeper Bernard Donovan and defender Morris Kadzola have also been ruled out because of injury.

This has forced Pasuwa to rope in a number of new faces including Dynamos teenager Thomas Kadyaridzire formerly with Total Football Academy.

The coach has also called up Triangle’s utility player Praise Tonha, Munyaradzi Diro Nyenye (Harare City), Tinotenda Kadewera (Harare City), ZPC Kariba pair of Terrence Gonzo and Samuel Makawa.

Takudzwa Kutinyu of Chicken Inn has also received a call up.

The Young Warriors coach has also called up goalkeeper Takabva Mawaya from Hwange as replacement for Donovan.

The FC Platinum quartet of Kelvin Moyo, Walter Musona, Wisdom Mutasa and Emmanuel Mandiranga have been excused as they are travelling to Tanzania on Friday for a Caf Confederation Cup first round, first leg tie against Young Africans.

Yesterday, 21 players turned for training on the first day.
