Celebration Church Ministries International is relocating 60 orphans from Ivordale Children’s Home in Murewa to Harare as a way of creating a more favorable environment for their upkeep.

The relocation, which is being done under the theme “Let’s bring them home”, follows a fundraising campaign by the church’s founder Tom Deuschle and some fellow churchmates who climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro on his 60th birthday.
At their new home, the orphans will have a feel of a new environment where all essentials have been put in place.
The church’s marketing and communications officer Nqobani Palane said the project was important to them as a church as they strive to make a difference on other people’s lives.
“We believe that true religion is to obey God,” he said.
Palane also said they were partnering Ster Kinekor to screen the documentary of the project as a way of raising more funds for the 60 orphans.
Deuschle said it was the duty of the church to provide for those in need.
