Steward Bank legal representative, Tawanda Nyambirai who had called for a press conference at a local hotel today refused to apologise for the raid on the Zimbabwe Business Agency, The source, forcing reporters to wave placards in defence of “freedom of the press” and eventually walking out before the event started.
Reporters from different media houses had asked Nyambirai to apologise for the raid on The Source’s newsroom but the lawyer refused arguing that the documents used for the contentious story were stolen. This prompted a heated verbal exchange that led to a protest and an eventual walk out. For background of this story click here. Pictures to follow
