Led by Overseer Amon Chinyemba and his team of pastors and church leaders, the event also marks Chinyemba’s return to the province.

He was recently re-elected together with the new provincial committee to the post having led AFM Cranborne church where he pastored for 18 years before relocating and pioneering another fast-growing work in Hillside.

“Overseer Chinyemba and his leadership team will spearhead this august conference with an estimated 8 000 members expected to attend. His relational leadership prowess capable of mobilising such masses at provincial level comes accompanied with massive untold successes dating back to the exceptional auditorium of AFM Cranborne church,” said AFM in a statement.

“The conference comes with fresh postmortem results of 2014 construction of the massive 5 000-seater conference centre project in Waterfalls under which roof the masses will gather, owing to the team spirit among pastors and leaders who lead local assemblies.”

The church said the conference would be graced by the AFM national office delegates who will inaugurate the reinstated overseer and other new officers.

“Excitement is rampant in all working departments as all efforts are harnessed to work towards the success of this conference,” said the statement.

“To add taste to the conference will be the soul-touching and renowned gospel group, Worship Addicts, and Takesure Zamar, popularly known for their deep worship.”
