Manyonganise is one of the leading voices of Zimpraise Choir well-known for the song Sungano which became a national anthem on the local gospel scene. Mhere roped the services of Manyonganise for a duet Ephiziba on his latest album Glory to Glory.

The song is receiving fair air play on local radio stations. As witnessed during his recent live shows, fans are left clamoring for more demanding the Favour hit maker to repeat the song several times. Mhere confirmed in an interview about the positive feedback from his multitude of fans saying the two will collaborate on a number of projects and they will join forces on upcoming concerts.

“The song Ephiziba was my first collaboration with Sharon and it is receiving overwhelming response from gospel music followers,” Mhere said.

“I engaged Sharon for a collaboration having realised she is extremely talented and we share the same vision as we are all passionate about spreading the word of God through music.”

Manyonganise shared the same sentiments with Mhere adding that she was happy that her first project with Mhere was a success.

“When Mhere approached me I did not hesitate to take the task as I wanted to try something different from what people know and associate me with,” Manyonganise said.

Manyonganise said she never doubted working with Mhere and she is ready for more collaborations with him. Both musicians are doing well on their separate projects. With much of her career being involved with Zimpraise Choir projects, Manyonganise recorded her debut album Rudo RwaJesu in 2011.

She is riding high with her latest second 10 track album titled Praise be to God that was launched in January this year at the Harare International Conference Centre. The album which was sponsored by Zimpraise and produced by Madziire featuring the likes of Takesure Ncube on the track Zita Rajesu and Pride Priestly on Tawana Kukunda.

Some of the songs on the album are Takatendeka, Praise be to God, Raramira Jesu, Great Things and title track Praise be to God. Manyonganise has collaborated with several gospel artistes among them Sebastian Magacha, Lloyd Tevedzai and United Kingdom-based Walter Chahwanda.
