Econet Wireless and Steward Bank legal representative Tawanda Nyambirai on March 27 frantically tried to explain reasons why the company clamped down on Zimbabwe business news agency The Source at a press conference before he was disrupted by journalists.
The journalists condenmed Econet for using it’s financial muscle to bully the media. They also demanded that Nyambirai should apologise on behalf of his company for muzzling the press as freedom of the Press and freedom of expression is enshrined in Zimbabwe’s Constitution.
