FORMER vice president Joice Mujuru has distanced herself from the shadowy Facebook characters purporting to be her and issuing statements that do not originate from her.

In an interview with NewsDay today, Mujuru said she has nothing to do with all the characters posing as her on Facebook.

“Let me set the record straight. I have nothing to do with all those characters that are opening Facebook accounts in my name and posting statements claiming they originate from,” Mujuru said.

“I have never opened any Facebook account and I do not have any intentions of opening one,” she said.

Yesterday one of the shadow characters posted that Mujuru was saying the situation in Zimbabwe has reached a boiling point.

“Something, something ,something is boiling somewhere. The temperature is high. The air is pregnant. When it happens remember :

No one saves you but yourselves. No one can and no one may. You yourselves must walk the path. What are you waiting for?

Overcome your excuses, take charge of your destiny and inspire a generation. The time is now!!
